NIKON 80-200mm ED LENS,
My client has disassembled the whole lens by himself, after dropping the lens in water along with NIKON camera 5500D. He also tried to fix the camera and lens by himself but unfortunately he couldn’t done it.
Why he tried to open them by himself ?
Because it’s an expensive job to get it done in abroad. Client is settled in New Zealand. So he contacted me from there and when he came to India for Diwali vacations, he sent both items to me.
Lens was totally disassembled. Every spare was nicely packed individually in box. But it was challenging job to me to assemble it in working condition.
A worthy challenge after some time. Took me several hours but got it fixed and working. Satisfaction needed and got it.
Although I couldn’t repaired camera due to severe water damage because it’s not an economically right thing to do.
